Seattle Channel: Fremont Bridge Writer-in-Residence

From Seattle Channel: "In early 2016, the Office of Arts & Culture, in partnership with the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), restarted an artist-in-residence program for the northwest tower of the Fremont Bridge. The assignment was to write an 'in-depth exploration of the historic bridge's role and meaning for the city of Seattle.' Seattle author Elissa Washuta spent three months in the summer of 2016 as the writer-in-residence of the Fremont Bridge, creating work from probably the most unique writing office in the city."
